Sorry for taking so long to res...</title><content type='html'>Hi there, Andrew! &lt;br /&gt;Sorry for taking so long to respond to your comment.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Talking smack is an expression that is used, often with sports, that refers to someone who is saying something over-exaggerated in order to make someone or something seem better.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hope that helps!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And to Anonymous about when to use the imperfect or the gerund, if the subjects are the same, then you can use the gerundio.
